Case Study · Next-gen CRO

Every CRO tells sponsors they know the sites. This CRO can prove it.

How a next-gen CRO grew from 66 sites to a 13,478-site clinical network, and 2 to 4×’d RFP throughput, in 12 months on Yendou.

The Challenge

Three things stood between the CRO and a defensible bid.

Scattered site data. Site details lived across email, CTMS, budget tools and spreadsheets, with no single source of truth as study and site volume scaled.
Opaque site networks. Networks kept their member sites hidden until post-award, slowing feasibility and forcing repetitive follow-ups before any informed decision.
Manual, repetitive work. Teams spent hours each week chasing site updates, creating misalignment and wasted effort across business development and clinical operations.
The Engagement

From a 12-week sprint to a 12-month engine.

As Yendou’s inaugural partner, the CRO rebuilt site engagement on one platform. In the first twelve weeks it enriched every site record from 15 to more than 185 data points, automated intake, and persuaded site networks to do what they never had before: disclose their member sites before feasibility. 23 of 50 networks agreed within two weeks, 26 within twelve.

Over the following months that foundation compounded. Twelve months on, the CRO’s site directory spans 13,478 research sites, 115 networks and 25,009 named contacts across 79 countries, with feasibility responses 50% faster and manual touchpoints down 70%.

“I’d never, in a million years, go back to spreadsheets and manual picking. That’s crazy. The immediate impact has been on our sales cycle: we can now bid on over 2x more deals per quarter.”

What It Means In A Bid

Breadth, visibility and proof, on demand.

Breadth on demand. When a sponsor asks for sites in a given indication and geography, the CRO answers with a filtered shortlist from 13,478 sites and 25,009 contacts across 79 countries, not a promise to go and find them.
See who is who, before the award. With 115 networks now visible ahead of feasibility, the CRO runs informed site identification up front, where most CROs stay blind until after the award.
Proof, not promises. 185 data points per site and 2,577 sites mapped to trial history, captured and current, mean every feasibility claim is backed by live evidence.

“When sites feel valued as strategic partners, everything changes: trust deepens, loyalty strengthens, and response times accelerate. Partnering with Yendou helps make that possible.”
